Additional terms of use related to the Manuscripts of the Berlin Turfan Collection

In contrast to the general Bedingungen für die Bestellung von Reproduktionen urheberrechtsfreier Materialien der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin the following restrictions apply to the holdings of the Berlin Turfan Collection:

1. For every intended publication (Edition) or reproduced image of manuscript material, the user is urgently requested to inform about the project in advance. 2. The user is solely responsible for observing the law of all possibly existing copyrights and personality rights connected with specific items.
3. The manuscripts have to be indicated with their full shelfmarks and the following specification
   Deposit of the
               BERLIN-BRANDENBURGISCHE AKADEMIE DER WISSENSCHAFTEN
               at the
               STAATSBIBLIOTHEK ZU BERLIN - Preußischer Kulturbesitz
               Orientabteilung
4. Should the user wish to acknowledge an institution, the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften has to be mentioned.
5. In order to have a continued documentation and to provide information for future users, the Staatsbibliothek (Orientabteilung) and the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften expect to receive a specimen copy or an offprint of every publication related to their collections. In case it should not be possible to provide a copy, information on the publication‘s bibliographic data of the publication is urgently requested. Please send the specimen copy to the Oriental Department: Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin / Orientabteilung / Potsdamer Straße 33 / D-10785 Berlin.
